Residents of Batavia and Batavia Township can sign up to be clients of the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Clothes Closet. Families can shop once per month for food (which includes shelf stable goods, fresh breads, produce, paper products, personal care items, dairy, deli, and frozen meat) and twice per month for clothing (which includes shoes, small houseware items, blankets, and bedding). Please call 630-879-3784 for more information or to find out if you are eligible for services.


Cars of Hope - CHIP IN works with Cars of Hope, based in Naperville, to donate vehicles to those in need of reliable transportation. Cars of Hope is always looking for donated vehicles. All vehicles are accepted — running or not. Vehicles that are not appropriate for donation are sold; proceeds from those sales pay to repair other vehicles.     General Assistance (GA) is a program that provides assistance to adults who are not receiving or do not qualify for public aid. They can help with basic living needs such as utilities, shelter, food, medical care and personal essentials.

    Outreach ministry that provides financial & spiritual assistance to families in our area facing temporary emergency hardships. Requires an in home visit; they help with food, bills, furniture. Outreach programs and links.

  • An experienced and dedicated team of volunteers here to help. They offer many life-changing ministries under the umbrella of Shepherd’s Heart to help overcome every challenge and get back on the path of victory. They have a food pantry, Master’s Hands program for house repairs, rent/utility help, and budgeting help.
